A shooting at a mother-child facility in Stade has left six employees dead, prompting a swift police response.

Police received multiple emergency calls around 12:10 PM regarding gunfire at the facility, arriving quickly to find four victims on-site and two others later succumbing to injuries.

The 45-year-old suspect, who has a history of threats and was involved in a custody dispute, was apprehended after a police chase; authorities believe the attack stemmed from familial motives.
