A significant concern is the availability of childcare, with only 31.1% deeming current provisions sufficient. SoVD Chair Michaela Engelmeier emphasizes the need for political action to enhance childcare services and promote family-friendly workplace policies, advocating for measures such as paid leave for fathers post-birth and reforms to address gender imbalances in caregiving responsibilities.
