Russian soldiers have abducted approximately 50 residents of the village Hrabowske in the Sumy border region of northeastern Ukraine and transferred them to Russia, according to Ukrainian human rights commissioner Dmytro Lubinez.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrij Sybiha urged the international community to respond and punish this war crime at the international level, stating that Russia under Vladimir Putin shows no difference from terrorist groups like Hamas or ISIS.

Ukrainian media reported that most of the abducted individuals had previously refused evacuation from the combat zone, while evacuation efforts continue in the Sumy region with local authorities involved.

Meanwhile, a Russian drone struck a large sunflower oil tank at the Pivdenne port near Odessa, causing a major fire and oil spill on surrounding streets, as shown in regional news footage.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the situation in the Odessa region as difficult and ordered reinforcement and reorganization of regional air defenses in response to increasing Russian attacks aimed at blocking Ukraine’s access to the Black Sea.
