25-Year-Old Dutch Skier Suffers Head Injury in Tyrol Accident
A 25-year-old Dutchman sustained a severe head injury on Christmas Day while skiing on a red-marked slope in the Serfaus-Kompardell ski area in Tyrol’s Landeck district.
Police reported that the man was skiing downhill in a tuck position when he grazed a previously unknown female skier near a fun park, causing him to fall.
The Dutchman received emergency medical treatment at the scene before being transported to the Innsbruck Clinic. The second skier involved was reportedly uninjured. Investigations are ongoing, and reports will be submitted to the relevant authorities.
