An Italian subsidiary of Lufthansa has announced that it will permit dogs weighing up to 30 kilograms to travel on its aircraft.

An additional ticket fee will be charged for the transportation of these animals.

Regulations stipulate that dogs must be leashed, muzzled, and sit on an absorbent mat throughout the flight.
