Autonomous vehicles transport these goods to their destinations within the warehouse, while robots also manage waste disposal. Rücker emphasized that rising costs and labor shortages necessitate such automation, as global conflicts drive prices up across sectors, compelling companies to maintain competitive logistics costs. Furthermore, machines are taking over physically demanding tasks that are increasingly difficult to fill with human labor.
