The BMW i3, set to be the brand’s second electric vehicle in the New Class, will launch with an undisclosed price and release date. The i3 50 Xdrive will feature two electric motors delivering a combined output of 345 kW (469 hp) and up to 645 Nm of torque. The new sedan measures 4.76 meters in length, five centimeters longer than the conventional 3 Series, and offers increased rear passenger space due to an extended wheelbase of 2.90 meters. BMW has yet to reveal details about the 800-volt battery capacity, although it promises a maximum range of 900 kilometers and a charging capacity of 400 kW, allowing for a 400-kilometer charge in just ten minutes.
