APT28, also known as “Fancy Bear,” aims to gather intelligence on military operations, government activities, and critical infrastructure. The warning, issued in collaboration with the Federal Intelligence Service and the FBI, identified approximately thirty vulnerable devices in Germany, some of which had already been compromised. Affected routers have since been replaced or secured. APT28 has previously been linked to attacks on the German Bundestag and the German Air Navigation Services.
