Marterbauer’s declaration signals a move to address the current pricing situation, aiming for a reduction in fuel expenses for consumers.

The FPÖ has expressed alarm over the minister’s plans, describing them as an “unfair foul.” The initiative, however, is noted to potentially have a catch.
