According to the coordinator of intelligence services, the suspects, aged between 48 and 62, will remain in pre-trial detention for three months. They are accused of gathering intelligence on NATO troop deployments in Poland and reportedly engaged in shooting exercises in preparation for potential sabotage activities. Concurrently, a similar case has emerged in Germany, where the Federal Prosecutor’s Office in Munich has arrested two individuals suspected of espionage for China.
