SPD MEP Cremer highlighted that Ukraine's own defense capability is the strongest security guarantee, urging Europe to utilize frozen Russian assets for Ukraine. Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Laschet praised the Berlin negotiations on a peace plan, indicating that Europe has never been this far in proposing a plan independently. A multinational force was agreed upon to secure a ceasefire.
