Far-Right Party Surges to Record Lead in Polls, Mainstream Conservatives Hit Historic Low

A new poll shows the far-right party leading by a record margin, while the mainstream conservative bloc has fallen to its lowest support level in nearly two years.

The latest polling data reveals a significant shift in voter preferences, with the far-right party securing 27.5% of support, marking a five-point lead over the mainstream conservative bloc, which stands at 22.5%. This represents the largest gap ever recorded between the two groups in this survey. The conservative bloc’s current standing is its lowest since October 2021, when it dropped to 21%.

The far-right party’s lead has doubled since the previous survey conducted in July, where it held a 2.5-point advantage. Its current support level is just shy of its all-time high of 28%, recorded earlier this year. Meanwhile, other parties have seen little movement, with the center-left and environmentalist parties maintaining 13% each, and the left-wing party rising slightly to 11%. The liberal party has also gained modestly, reaching 6%.

This trend is echoed across multiple polling organizations, all of which show the far-right party consistently ahead of the conservative bloc by significant margins. Recent surveys from other institutes place the far-right party’s support between 28% and 28.5%, while the conservative bloc trails at around 20% to 21%. These findings highlight a growing shift in voter sentiment as the country approaches potential elections.
