Sahra Wagenknecht, founder of the Alliance, has sharply criticized the tax reform plans of the black-red coalition, labeling them as a ‘deception to the public.’ She argues that the claimed relief of 600 euros includes 312 euros in child benefits, misleading citizens about actual tax relief.

Wagenknecht also pointed out that other measures, such as raising the basic tax allowance, were already due. She emphasized that families are facing rising costs, particularly at the gas station, which outweigh any future tax relief. She called for urgent government action to address economic challenges and energy prices.
